Amanda Mitchell begins her first season as the assistant women’s basketball coach.
 
Mitchell is a 2009 graduate of Waynesburg University where she played basketball and was a member of the track team for the Yellow Jackets. A shooting guard, she played three seasons finishing with 145 points and 83 rebounds. Mitchell also competed in javelin on the track and field team as well as being a Dean’s List student.
 
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in graphic design she also went on to get her Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2011. Since completing her education Mitchell has been coaching at different levels.
 
She was the modified Head Coach for the girls basketball team at her alma mater Brownsville Area where her team went 27-4 over two seasons. Mitchell has also been a counselor and coach at Keystone State camps.
 
Mitchell lives in Massena, NY and works full time as a graphic designer at Northeastern Sign Corporation in South Colton, NY.
