2016 Season
Started 25 of the 25 contests she appeared in… Posting a batting average of .425 with 34 hits, 12 runs, 7 doubles, 3 homeruns, .625 slugging percentage and a .471 on base percentage.

2015 Season
Started all 30 contests she appeared in as captain for her second season with the Roos… Leading the team with a batting average of .429 with 42 hits, 22 runs, eight doubles, three triples, four home runs, and 25 RBI’s on the season… Posted a .694 slugging percentage, and a .486 on base percentage… Went 2-for-3 with two runs, one RBI, one double and one home run in the 9-8 victory over St. Lawrence on 4/23. 

2014 Season
Started all 25 games leading the Roos with a .392 batting average, 29 hits, 20 RBI’s, 11 runs, seven doubles, two triples, two home runs, a .622 slugging percentage and .451 on-base percentage… Had eight multi-hit games including three games with three hits… Went 3-for-4 with two doubles against Ohio Valley (3/10)… Hit 6-for-9 with 7 RBI’s, five runs, a triple and home run in a sweep of New Rochelle (3/29)… Named a United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) First Team All-American.

High School
Shannon was a two-sport athlete at Oneida competing in softball and volleyball… She was team captain for three seasons and earned All-Conference honors… Her team was Section III Class C Champions her junior and senior seasons… She was also a member of karate, band, chorus and was in a musical… She also competes for the CNY Heat in softball during the summer.

Personal
Born May 27th, 1993 she is the daughter of Gerald & Elayne Dowling… Sister of Andrew & Peter… Shannon is a transfer from Nazareth College and Mohawk Valley CC… She is an Applied Psychology major.
