Tom Murphy enters his second season as an assistant softball coach with the Roos during the 2019-20 academic year.
Murphy has over 20 years of coaching experience in all capacities of youth softball. His experience with travel ball includes stints with the NY Lady Bandits and NY Lady Rebels, mentoring over 70 student-athletes who went on to play at the collegiate level in all divisions.
He also assisted high school softball teams with Corning West and the Corning Hawks for eight years. This experience includes multiple athletes who earned all-state honors, multiple high school sectional appearances, as well as the first sectional championship title in Corning softball history.

His focus on relationship building, the mental side of the game, and teaching life lessons through softball will help us reach the next level.”
