Chelsea Cavellier enters her sixth season as an assistant softball coach with the Roos during the 2020-21 academic year.
Cavellier competed in four years of softball at St. Lawrence University from 2010 to 2013 where she was a four-time Liberty League All-League selection. She was named Second Team All-Conference as a sophomore and earned Honorable Mention accolades as a freshman, junior and senior. She was also named to the All-Academic Team three times. Cavellier finished her junior season ranked sixth in NCAA Division III in sacrifice flies leading the Saints with 20 RBI. She played third base during her rookie season before transitioning to catcher as a sophomore. Cavellier hit above .300 in both her junior and senior seasons combining for 69 hits, 13 doubles, three home runs, a triple and 16 RBI during her final two seasons.
Cavellier was a three-sport athlete at General Brown earning recognition in softball, soccer and basketball.
