2024 Season

• Started 16 of the 17 games he appeared in finishing tied for second on the team with two goals
• Scored both goals in a 7-2 victory over VTSU-Johnson
• Seven of his 11 shots were on goal

2023 Season

• Started 12 of the 15 games he appeared in tying for the team lead in both points (7) and goals (3)
• 11 of his 25 shots were on goal
• Scored the eventual game-winner in a 4-0 victory at VTSU Johnson (10/17/23)

2022 Season

• Started 12 of the 18 games he appeared in during his freshman season, registering 12 points on six goals
• Registered 20 shots

High School

• Michael was a four-sport athlete at Margaretville competing 5 years of varsity soccer, 3 years of basketball, baseball and golf
• Played club soccer for Albany Rush, Rush NY Select & Rush Northeast Select
• Michael earned numerous soccer awards during his high school career
• Soccer: 9th grade – 3rd Team Delaware League All-Star, 10th- 2nd Team Delaware League All-Star, 12th – 1st Team Delaware League All-Star
• His soccer team won the Delaware League Championship during his sophomore and senior seasons (sophomore Co-Champs)

Who is Your Personal Hero/Idol and Why? My heroes are my Mom and Dad. They had me at a young age and did everything they could to allow me and my siblings to have a great life. They have been my biggest fans and have worked so hard so I could play club soccer. They made all the long trips for soccer tournaments and making my other sporting events. They showed me if you work hard you can get far in life.

Why Did You Chose SUNY Canton: I chose SUNY Canton because of their hands on majors. I learn better by doing things hands on then just reading in a book. The town of Canton reminds me of my hometown too.
What Do You Like Most About SUNY Canton: I like how hands on their Sports Management program is, and the different areas the program offers.
What do you like most about your sports team/coach at SUNY Canton: Coach Penrod has a great sense of humor and his sarcasm reminds me of my Dad. In the short time I have known him I feel he will make living nearly 5 hours away from home much easier. I look forward to playing for him.
