High School
Casey was a member of the Somerset baseball team for four years… His sophomore year he went 5-1 with a 1.15 ERA and led the county in ERA and complete games…The team went 16-9 that year for their best record in program history… Recognized as All-County freshman and sophomore seasons and had the highest GPA on his team…Casey played on the #1 ranked travel team entering his freshman year of  high school (Team Florida) where he posted a 15-0 record and 1.10 ERA… He also played for South Florida Elite, one of the top teams in travel ball.

Personal
Born February 2nd, 1996 he is the son of Onel & Dawn Garcia… Brother of Samantha… Father Onel played college baseball at St. Thomas University and played professionally in the Baltimore Orioles organization… Casey is an Accounting major.

What Makes You Unique: I have great amounts of competitive spirit, and I will do whatever it takes to win. I have been around the game of baseball my whole life, and I have a passion for the game like not other.
Reason You Chose SUNY Canton: I wanted to play on a competitive college baseball team, and I wanted to play in a positive environment. I was sold immediately after I got to meet all of the coaches and players her. I knew it was the right place for me.
Plans For After Graduation: Hopefully extend my career to the next level and play professionally, but ultimately after I am finished playing baseball, I want to pursue my dream of becoming either a college or professional baseball coach.
