2014 Season
Started seven of his nine appearances on the mound winning two games and finishing with a 4.23 ERA… Threw one complete game and 38.1 innings pitched striking out 17 batters… Earned wins against Penn State Abington on 3/13 and D’Youville on 4/12 giving up just one earned run in each outing.

Derek was a three-sport athlete at St. Peter Catholic competing in baseball, hockey and soccer… He was named MVP of his baseball team.

Born November 17th, 1994 he is the son of Shaun Harkin and Wendy Leask… Brother of Zack & Michaela… Derek is a Criminal Justice major.
