Syracuse, NY – Sophomore Nicole Morrow has been named the Spry SUNYAC Women's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week after a strong performance over three outings last week.  

Morrow combined to stop 25 of the 29 shots she faced (.862 save %) in a busy three game week for the Roos. She stopped 18 of the 21 shots she faced in a 3-0 road loss at St. Lawrence on Wednesday. The 18 saves were tied for eighth most all-time in the Roos D-III era record book. Morrow then stopped six of the seven shots she faced making three saves in each half in a 1-0 road loss at Cobleskill on Saturday. The sophomore stopped the lone shot she faced in a 2-0 shutout win at VTSU Lyndon on Sunday. It was Morrow's second clean sheet in three starts in goal on the season.
