Syracuse, NY – After leading the Roos to a road OT tie at Cortland on Friday, junior
Molly Lenihan has been named the SUNYAC Women's Hockey Goaltender of the Week. This is Lenihan's third SUNYAC Goaltender of the Week accolade as she also earned the honor on December 8 and February 2.
Lenihan stopped 35 of the 36 shots she faced (.972 save %) in a 1-1 OT tie at Cortland on Friday. The lone goal she gave up was on the power play and she stopped double digit shots in the first (13) and second (10) periods along with making four saves in the extra period to preserve the tie. Â
