Canton, NY – Seniors
Sarah Balcom and
Torie Moore both registered two hits during the Roos 2025 Season finale at St. Lawrence on Sunday afternoon. During the doubleheader with the Saints, Moore opened each game with a hit and Balcom had a triple and a double on the day. Balcom scored a run in the first game and had an RBI during game two.

HOW IT HAPPENED

GAME 1 - BOX SCORE
- Freshman Bella Betancur started out the contest with a walk and was advanced to second when Moore singled. The Roos had runners on second and third by the end of the inning but were not able to put a run on the board early.
- The hosts scored eight runs during the bottom of the first inning on only three hits during the inning.
- The Saints added three more runs in the bottom of the second inning and one more run in the bottom of the third inning which would end up being their last run of the contest.
- Balcom opened the fourth inning with a triple and would end up scoring in the inning on a wild pitch.
- Sofia Berryhill earned the win for the hosts while Priscilla Soule took the loss for the visiting Roos.

GAME 2 – BOX SCORE
- Moore started the second game with a hit and would eventually make her way to second base during the inning, but the Roos left two runners on base in the top of the first inning.
- The Saints would score their first run of the game during the bottom of the second inning.
- The Roos quickly answered with Freshman Rylynn Martin-McIntyre crossing home plate on a double from Balcom to tie up the score.
- The Saints and Roos remained tied throughout the third inning until the hosts added nine runs on five hits during the bottom of the fourth inning.
- Hannah Reardon earned the win for the Saints while Ace Rogers took the loss for Canton.
