Canton, NY – Megan Hogancamp,
Andrea Cary and
Sydney Hoefer, all members of the SUNY Canton women's soccer team, have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team.
The all-district teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on their respective playing surfaces and in the classroom.
To be eligible for the honor student-athletes need to maintain at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA, have participated in at least 90 % of their team's contests or started 66 % of their team's matches.
Hogancamp, a senior Forensic Criminology major, appeared in 17 of the Roos 18 matches logging nearly 400 minutes of action.
Cary, a senior Management major, started three of the 18 contests she appeared in ranking second on the team with two goals, including a game-winner, in over 600 minutes of action.
Hoefer, a junior captain, started all 18 matches for the Roos, registering an assist and clocking over 1,300 minutes on the season.
