Canton, NY – Hope Aniceto scored 26 points and was 8-for-11 from the three point line, while 13 other Roos found the scoring column as the SUNY Canton women's basketball team feasted on the Bryant and Stratton – Syracuse Bobcats Monday night at the Roos House.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bobcats were able to score four of the game's first six points, but Aniceto nailed home a pair of threes and Natalie Bush and Kate Grainger joined in on the party with threes in the first quarter.
- After their first four points, Bryant and Stratton struggled to score the remainder of the quarter and the Roos held a 22-10 lead after 10 minutes.
- Aniceto drilled three more 3-pointers in the opening three minutes of the second quarter and SUNY Canton was quickly out ahead 35-15 with 6:34 left to play in the half.
- Sierra Pabo led the Roos late in the half with six points as SUNY Canton scored the final 15 points and took a 52-20 lead into the locker room.
- Aniceto had another three 40 seconds into the third quarter to conclude a 20-0 run from the Roos going back to the first half. SUNY Canton later grabbed a 40-point lead halfway through the third quarter, and then Chelsie Tyler had a buzzer-beating layup to end the fourth after Pabo picked the pocket of a Bobcat and threw it up to Tyler.
- SUNY Canton eclipsed 100 points after an Alyvia Roberts layup made it 100-41 with 3:06 to play.
- Both Emma Diehl and Grace Villnave scored in the final minutes as the Roos claimed the 104-47 victory.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Aniceto ended her night with 26 points in just 20 minutes and only off of 12 shot attempts. She also pitched in with four steals.
- Sierra Pabo and Kate Grainger both continued hot starts to the season with each scoring 16 points. Pabo had eight assists and four steals while Grainger logged three assists and grabbed five rebounds. 14 of 15 players who entered the game scored and all 15 had at least one rebound.
- Freey Pleasants scored 17 to lead the way for Bryant and Stratton. Magnama Traore had a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds.
- The Roos set season bests with 41 field goals made, 13 three pointers, and 21 assists. They beat the Bobcats 42-20 in points in the paint, 29-2 on the fast break, and 37-1 on bench points.
