Utica, NY – Sierra Pabo and
Torie Moore both scored in double figures as a strong second quarter carried visiting SUNY Canton to a 69-52 non-conference win at SUNY Poly on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos roared out to an early 18-7 lead just over five minutes into the game, but the hosts battled back with an 8-2 run to get within 20-15 after one quarter.
- Canton dominated play in the second stanza holding the Wildcats without a made field goal for the entire 10 minutes outscoring them 17-2. The Roos led 37-17 at intermission.
- Poly never got closer than 15 in the second half as Canton's lead ballooned to as many as 25 en route to the convincing win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Pabo led all players with 22 points, while Moore recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 10 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. Jayda Pina tallied nine points and six rebounds shooting 4-for-5 from the field and Emma Perez finished with eight points, five rebounds and three assists.
- Sophia Murray paced the hosts with 18 points, while Alysa Jackson registered 11 points and eight rebounds.
- Canton controlled rebounds (51-43), fast break points (20-0), points in the paint (36-10), bench points (22-11), second chance points (14-3) and points off turnovers (26-17).
