Canton, NY – Trinity Critelli tossed a no-hitter to lead the SUNY Poly softball team to a 14-0 win against SUNY Canton in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- SUNY Poly jumped out to 4-0 lead with two runs each in the first and second innings. The Wildcats tacked on four more runs in the third to hold a commanding 8-0 lead after three innings.
- Poly added a run in the fourth and tacked on five more unearned runs in the fifth taking advantage of a pair of Canton errors. Kimberly Birmingham hit a two-run homer for the visitors as the Wildcats earned the convincing win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Sophia Gundersen and Caitlyn Reed drew walks for the Roos, while Priscilla Soule was hit by a pitch as they broke up Critelli's perfect game.
- Amy DeSena and Aeron Hamm both had three hits each for SUNY Poly, while Birmingham, Kelly Powell, Critelli and Gabriella Ellixson all had multi-hit outings.
- Critelli struck out 13 batters walking just two in the no-hitter. Reed threw a complete game as only six of her 14 runs were earned. She struck out three and walked two.

These two teams will play a NAC doubleheader on Saturday at 12 p.m. The Roos will celebrate Senior Day.
