Autumn Kunes combined for 18 points as the SUNY Canton women's basketball team closed out the home portion of its schedule with a 93-83 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) win v. NVU-Johnson on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Neither team led by more than six in the opening quarter as the Roos took a 25-23 lead after 10 minutes of play.
- The game continued to be extremely close with the largest lead four for either team in the second stanza as the Roos and Badgers went into intermission deadlocked at 48 apiece.
- Leading 59-57 the Roos used a 10-0 run to open a 12-point lead with 3:15 left in the third quarter. Canton led 71-64 after three quarters of action.
- Johnson trimmed the lead to six early in the fourth before the Roos opened a 13-point advantage, their largest of the game, with 3:39 to play as they closed out the game down the stretch.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Culkin had a career and game-high 33 points and added 20 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season. Pina recorded her first career double-double on 16 points and 10 rebounds posting career-highs in both points and rebounds.
- Hope Aniceto finished with 15 points making five threes and added four assists. Dayter tallied 10 points, eight assists and six rebounds, while Autumn Kunes posted eight points. Emma Perez chipped in six points and five assists, while Shannyn St. Andrews tallied five points and seven rebounds.
- Aniceto set the Roos all-time four-year single-season made three pointers record with her five three pointers today. She now has 59 on the season surpassing Joelle Percy who made 58 3's during the 2013-14 season.
- Gabrielle Wardwell (18 points, 20 rebounds) and Emma Buonanno (17 points, 10 rebounds) both had double-doubles for the Badgers, while Devyn Thompson (18), Paris Atuahene (13) and Hattie Moriatry (11) all scored in double figures. Atuahene tied Dayter with a game-high eight assists.
- The Roos shot 45% from the field compared to 35% for the Badgers. Canton held the edge in points in the paint (50-28) and fast break points (14-6).
