Canton, NY – SUNY Canton Freshman Jane Pancoe scored two goals and added three assists in an 11-1 win over Hilbert College.  Eight different Roos scored goals and 16 players had at least one point in the contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• SUNY Canton erupted for six first-period goals jumping out to a 6-1 lead.  Scoring for the Roos were freshman Alexia Labre, freshman Tilly Couture, freshman Kyra O'Keefe, junior Iida Laitinen and Pancoe who tallied two goals.  Abby Dawson scored the Hawks lone goal.
• The Roos extended their lead to 11-1 in second period with goals coming from freshman Danika Lalonde, O'Keefe and two from junior Desiree Snook.
• Both teams were held off the scoresheet in the third period.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Labre and Couture both scored their first collegiate goals in the contest.
• The Roos power play went 1 for 2 on the afternoon while their penalty kills was a perfect 4 for 4.  Faceoffs were 32-15 in favor of the Roos.
• SUNY Canton senior Sirena Alvarez made three saves, giving up one goal.  The Hawks Cassie Troy made 24 saves in the first period and Tia Card relieved her in the second and third period, stopping 24 more shots.

SUNY Canton will host an exhibition match against the Whitby Jr Wolves on Tuesday November 15^th at 3:00 p.m.
