• Location: SUNY Canton Turf – Canton, NY
• Records: SUNY Canton (0-10-4) | SUNY ESF (6-2-3)

HOW IT HAPPENED

• SUNY ESF held a territorial advantage in the first half and had their best scoring chance at 34:36 when Ryan Hesch blasted a shot from the top of the penalty area. Sophomore Skylar Williams was up to the task, diving to her right to keep the game scoreless.
• The Roos broke through at 39:44, as Platt buried a rebound home off junior Shannyn St. Andrews shot.  The opportunity was created off of a corner kick by senior Autumn Kunes.
• Both teams had their chances in the second half.  SUNY Canton almost doubled the lead when pressure by junior Desiree Forde caused goalkeeper Helena O'Shea to misplay the ball and sophomore Olivia McLennan pushed a shot just wide of the open net.
• The Mighty Oaks created their own opportunity with just over 16 minutes left when Mackenzie Koniszewski ripped a shot labeled for the top left corner.  Williams again stood tall, leaping to punch the ball just over the crossbar.
• SUNY ESF finally cashed in at 84:28 when Abby Thomas broke in all alone and put her own rebound past a diving Williams to tie the score 1-1.
