Hockey Weekend Schedule Updates: 01/14-15

Women's Hockey Adds Two Games, Men's Hockey Contests v. Fredonia Canceled

Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton women's and men's hockey teams have had alterations to their weekend schedules.

The Roo women had initially added a road game at Castleton on Saturday but that was canceled in order to play league games this weekend. SUNY Canton will now play a pair of Northeast Women's Hockey League (NEWHL) road games at Buffalo State on Friday (7 PM) and Saturday (3 PM).

These contests were moved up from February 4th and 5th, respectively. This will allow the Roos to play other potential conference make-up games that weekend.

The SUNY Canton men's hockey home games against Fredonia on Friday (1/14) and 7 PM and Saturday (1/15) at 4 PM were canceled on Friday morning due to Fredonia COVID protocols.

The Roos men's and women's basketball teams are still scheduled for their doubleheaders at Maine Maritime on Friday (1/14) and Thomas College on Saturday (1/15).
