HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tessa Dobson got the scoring started at 2:40 of the opening period on her fourth goal of the season. Chyne Kennedy added an even-strength goal and Mackenzie Lombardi tallied a power play score at 18:57 as the Mustangs led 3-0 after one.
- Madison Devlin (9:33) and Rhys Brown (16:45) recorded a pair of even-strength goals in the second period to open a five-goal advantage after 40 minutes of play.
- Kylie Cameron added another Morrisville goal in the third period for the 6-0 final.
- Kayla Lauzon made seven saves in her second straight start allowing three goals. Brooke Susac turned aside four shots surrendering three goals and Sirena Alvarez made five stops without allowing a goal the final 13:38.
- Lacey Friesen made 21 saves in the shutout for Morrisville.
- The Mustangs went 1-for-1 on the power play and killed off both of their penalties.
