The Roos advance to NAC Championship weekend where they will face Thomas College in a NAC Semifinal on Saturday, November 9th at No. 1 overall seed and tournament host Maine Maritime Academy. The game time will be decided on Monday.

THE BASICS
  • Result: SUNY Canton 1, SUNY Delhi 0
  • Location: Red Dragon Field – Oneonta, NY
  • Records: SUNY Canton (7-9-2) | SUNY Delhi (9-8-0)
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • O'Neill scored his eighth of the season early in the 11th minute off a set piece. Evran Akman took a free kick from just inside midfield as Will Ausitn headed it backwards near the right of the box. The header was perfect for O'Neill who took a one-time right-footed volley into the left corner of the net.
  • Pellerin made five first-half saves to give the Roos a 1-0 lead headed to intermission.
  • The Roos had a chance to add an insurance goal in the 56th minute after a foul in the box resulted in a Connor Bruyn penalty kick, but Bronco keeper Corey O'Toole made the save.
  • Pellerin made seven additional saves after halftime to preserve the one-goal lead. This marked the third clean sheet of the season for the Plattsburgh native.
  • O'Toole made four stops for host Delhi.
  • O'Neill's lone shot of the contest found the back of the net, while Brett Anderson registered a pair of shots on goal and Bruyn and Kevin Velasquez had one each.
