CHC Championship Weekend Preview and Ticket Information

Morrisville, NY – The SUNY Canton women's hockey team is set to take on Endicott College in Saturday's Colonial Hockey Conference semifinal at 4:30 p.m. in Morrisville. The winner will advance to Sunday's 1 p.m. CHC Championship game v. the winner of host Morrisville State and Nichols College.
 
How They Got Here
SUNY Canton (10-13-3) advanced to the semifinal after earning a 2-0 shutout win v. Becker College last Saturday, while Endicott (18-5-2) earned a bye to the semifinal after finishing second in the CHC regular season standings.
   
 
Ticket, Live Coverage & Travel Information
Tickets for Saturday's semifinals and Sunday's championship will be available at the door one hour prior to the start of the first game. Adults are $4, while students and senior citizens are $2. Roos Looking for First CHC Championship Appearance
SUNY Canton will look to make its first CHC championship game in their third season in the league. For the first time in the conference's history the winner of the conference tournament will earn an automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
 
Four Roos Earn End of Year Honors
The Roos will look to junior Tess Adams and sophomore Sydney Jordan to provide experience and scoring prowess in the playoffs. Adams, who was named CHC Player of the Year and earned First Team accolades for the third time, leads Canton in nearly every offensive statistical category including points (27), goals (14), assists (13), power play goals (6) and short-handed goals (2). Adams has averaged better than a point in her career with 79 points (49-30-79) in 73 career games.
 
Jordan, was named First Team All-Conference at defense after tallying 19 points on eight goals and 11 assists. She has been a crucial part of the power play scoring half of her goals (4) with the skater advantage, while also adding a game-winner and a shorthanded tally.
 
After starting the season as a defenseman, freshman Ashley Gillies has made the transition to forward over the last 15 games and that has made a huge difference for the Roos. The CHC All-Rookie team member has 14 points (5-9-14) and has provided a tremendous scoring punch for Canton in the second half of the season.
 
Sophomore Brooke Susac earned Third Team All-Conference honors for the second consecutive season after posting a 1.70 goals against average, .933 save percentage and 5-5-2 record in conference play. The Roos will look for their goaltender to come up big this postseason after she posted a 15 save shutout in a 2-0 win v. the Hawks in the CHC quarterfinal.
 
Scouting Endicott
The Gulls are led by First Team All-Conference honorees Jillian Gibbs, Jade Meier and Ellen Carter as the trio has combined for 73 points. Gibbs, a sophomore forward, has posted a team-best 28 points on 12 goals and 16 assists, while Meier, a sophomore forward, has tallied 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points. Carter, a junior defenseman, finished with 19 points (4-15-19) and helped the Endicott defense allow just 15 goals in 12 conference games.
 
Lauren Ferraiuolo was also recognized on the All-Rookie Team after finishing the season with four goals and seven assists. Vendela Jonsson leads the Gull in net posting marks of 1.52 goals against average and a .937 save percentage on her way to a 12-5-1 record. Alyssa Peterson also has six appearances between the pipes with a 1.32 goals against average, .915 save percentage and a 5-0-1 record.
