Jordan Nets Eighth of the Season in Road Loss v. Bears

Potsdam, NY – Sydney Jordan scored her eighth goal of the season but the SUNY Canton women's hockey team was unable to overcome a four goal first period deficit in a 4-1 non-conference road loss at SUNY Potsdam on Tuesday evening.
 
The Bears saw four different players scored goals in less than a four minute span in the opening period. Natalie Wasielewski got the scoring started at 13:32 on the power play. Less than two minutes later Jenna Patterson netted her sixth goal of the season. Jaci Morr and Taylor Marcellus lit the lamp 24 seconds apart to complete the scoring for the Bears (11-8-2).
 
Jordan got the Roos (7-12-2) on the board at 16:27 of the second period on her eighth goal of the season. Whitney Bernier was credited with her fourth assist of the year on the play.
 
Brooke Susac made 29 saves for Canton, while Samantha White turned aside 20 shots for Potsdam.
