Canton, NY – Three different players recorded hits for the Roos but Caitlin Syphurs hit a pair of home runs and Allie Courtwright tossed a three-hit shutout as St. Lawrence earned a 12-0 win v. the softball team on Thursday.
Stefanie Miller doubled and
Desiree Pryce and
Brittany Staltare produced singles but Courtwright threw five innings of shutout ball with four strike outs to improve to 6-5 on the season.
Kelsey White took the loss giving up 12 runs, only seven of which were earned with two strike outs.
Cassidy Yetter had a strong game in right field tying a game-high with five putouts. Staltare and
Rhea Coad also reached base via walks.
