Little River, SC – The SUNY Canton softball team split a pair of games on Thursday to finish their spring break trip to Myrtle Beach above .500 at 3-2 overall.
Aileen Reilly tossed a perfect game to lift Gettysburg (7-2) to a 9-0 win in the opener, while the Roos bounced back with a 6-1 victory v. Keystone (2-4) in the second game of the day.
Game 1 – Box Score
The Roos went up against some hot pitching in their opener on Thursday as Aileen Reilly through just the second perfect game in program history leading Gettysburg to a 9-0 win in six innings. She finished with five strikeouts to earn her third win of the season.
Jamie Abell, Meredith Taylor and Sarahrose Jonik drove in two runs each for the Bullets (7-2).
Game 2 – Box Score
SUNY Canton scored two runs in the first and three in the third inning as they jumped up above .500 on the season. With runners on second and third with two down

Stefanie Miller produced back-to-back singles to score
Jaedyn Ossont and Hyland.
The Roos added three runs in the third inning as Hyland and Millerlaced a pair of RBI doubles down the left field line scoring Kayleigh Foran and Hyland.
Brittany Miner doubled to left field with two outs sscoring Miller before she was thrown out at third to end the inning. Â
The Giants got one run across in the fourth but the Roos responded with a run of their own in the sixth when Foran used a base hit to left to score Miner.
Jordan Podkladek earned her third win in two days as she threw a complete game giving up just five hits and one earned run with two strike outs in seven innings. Miller led the offense with three hits, while Coad, Pryce and Miner recorded two hits each.
