Vermont Tech closed the period on a 7-0 run to trim the deficit to 18-10 after one.

After the hosts got within five early in the second quarter, the Roos responded with a 6-0 run that included a pair of points from Allison Fink, Saltus and Conway to regain a double-digit advantage. The Roos took a 33-18 lead into intermission.

Canton extended the lead to 21 after a Saltus three-pointer six minutes into the third stanza and held a 19-point edge after 30 minutes of play as they cruised to the victory.

Saltus led all players with 16 points, while Rogers and Jenifer Morgan-Aubin totaled 11 points apiece. Conway came up one rebound short of a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds, while Barbato and Fink tallied nine points apiece. Paige Whitton scored a season-high six points.

Paige Wells recorded a double-double on 13 points and a game-high 14 rebounds for the Knights, while Olivia Reynolds added 10 in the scoring column.
