Bean and Ossont Score in Season Finale at USCAA’s

Virginia Beach, VA – Victoria Bean and Jaedyn Ossont each scored and Katie Lamica dished out a pair of assists as the SUNY Canton women's soccer team closed out its 2017 season in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Tournament on Saturday.

Bryant and Stratton (6-7) took a 2-0 lead off goals from Lisette Rodriguez and Jeanille Lawrence over the first 31 minutes. Shortly after the second Bobcat goal the Roos responded as Katie Lamica found Victoria Bean who buried a shot from 30 yards out for her first goal of the season.

The teams exchanged a pair of goals over the next 10 minutes as Cindy Jacquet tallied for Bryant and Stratton and Jaedyn Ossont slotted her second goal of the season off a pass from Lamica. The Bobcats led 3-2 at intermission.

Rodriguez and Portia Davis scored in the second half and Jacquet added a pair of scores to complete the hat trick as the Bobcats cruised to the 7-2 victory.

Allison Wakefield made 15 save for the Roos (6-14), while Lisste Infante made seven stops for Bryant and Stratton.
