Marshfield, MA – The SUNY Canton women's hockey team has secured the four seed in the upcoming Colonial Hockey Conference playoffs and will host a quarterfinal match-up on Saturday at 7 p.m. against Becker College in the Roos House.

SUNY Canton finished the regular season 7-6-1 in conference play, while the Hawks recorded a 5-9-0 record in the CHC. The teams split a pair of regular season contests at Becker on February 5th and 6th with the Roos taking the opener 4-3 and Becker coming back with a 2-0 win in the rematch. The No. 1 seed Stevenson University (13-0-1) and No. 2 seed Endicott College (11-1-2) will receive first round byes into the semifinals. Fourth seeded SUNY Canton will host fifth seeded Becker College, while third seeded Morrisville State College hosts sixth seeded Johnson & Wales, also on Saturday.

The winners of Saturday's quarterfinal games will advance to the semifinals on Saturday, March 5th with the winners squaring off for the inaugural Colonial Hockey Championship on Sunday, March 6th. The semifinals and finals will be hosted by Stevenson University.
