Terrance Eclipses 1,000 Career Points as Roos Close out Season with 69-60 Win at Delhi

Delhi, NY – Senior Karyss Terrance (Hogansburg, NY) closed out her career with a monster double-double posting 24 points and 15 rebounds as she eclipsed the 1,000 career scoring milestone as the SUNY Canton women's basketball team closed out its season with a 69-60 road win at SUNY Delhi on Sunday.

Terrance was dominate shooting 9-for-17 from the field while adding three steals and two assists to go with her impressive scoring and rebounding effort. In the second half Terrance grabbed a steal and went end-to-end as she pulled up at the free throw line and banked in a shot to reach 1,001 points. Following reaching the milestone she was subbed out to a big ovation.

Caseylnn Fulton (Saint Cloud, MN) and Logan Tallman (Heuvelton, NY) were also extremely effective in the contest for the Roos (9-15). Fulton posted 19 points, seven rebounds and four steals, while hitting on eight of her 13 field goal attempts. Tallman scored 11 points and dished out eight assists to go with two steals. Brianna Sayer (Hermon, NY) chipped in with eight points and seven boards.

SUNY Canton shot 41 percent from the field and dished out 20 assists on 27 made field goals as everyone got involved in the team's final contest of the season.
