Media, PA – Jenifer Morgan-Aubin posted her third double-double of the season but the SUNY Canton women's basketball team dropped a 68-46 decision to host Penn State Brandywine on Thursday.
Morgan-Aubin finished with a team-high 11 points to go with 11 rebounds, while Sade Rogers added 10 points and five rebounds.
Randi Conway finished just one point short of a double-double with nine points and 12 boards, while
Allison Fink chipped in nine points and eight rebounds in her first start of the season.
The hosts (6-4) jumped out to a quick start leading 23-2 after the opening quarter, as Brandywine took a 40-12 lead into intermission. The Roos (1-9) bounced back to outscore the hosts 17-10 in the third quarter, while the teams played to an almost even fourth period.
Nikki Velez paced Brandywine with 16 points, while Alyssa Abbonizio (14) and Kendra Stanford (11) also finished in double figures.
The Roos held a 52-40 edge in rebounding but shot just 22 percent from the floor compared to a 40 percent mark for Brandywine.
