Jagana Nets Second of Year in Season Finale

Oswego, NY – Senior Abdulai Jagana knotted the game at 1-1 midway through the second half but host Oswego State pulled out a 2-1 victory on Wednesday.
 
With the win, Oswego finishes its regular season with a 5-10-2 mark while Canton falls to 9-8-1
 
Harrison Rieber got the scoring started in the 38th minute scoring on a header off a pass from a free kick from Connor Lunduski. The Lakers led 1-0 at intermission.
 
Jagana knotted the game at one apiece early in the 61st minute when he received a through ball from Hunter Mowery (Elizabethtown, NY) to beat Oswego State keeper Cody Peck.
 
Lunduski scored the eventual game-winner nine and a half minutes later off a cross from Bojan Toplavic for the 2-1 final. Patrick Anunziatta (Schenectady, NY) turned aside four shots for the Roos, while Peck and Jon Runge stopped four total shots for the Lakers.
