Jessica Kistabish (Pikogan, QUE) tallied an unassisted goal in both the second and third periods to lead SUNY Canton to a 3-0 decision over the University of New England in women's ice hockey action Saturday afternoon at the Harold Alfond Forum.
The Kangaroos improve to 7-12-3 with the win, while the Nor'easters fall back to 5-10-4 on the year.
After a scoreless first frame that was even in shots (7-7), Kistabish got on the board midway through the middle period, taking a loose puck out of the right corner and burying her 12th marker of the season.
With 7:29 left in the third, Kistabish made it 2-0 in favor of SUNY Canton, scooping up a turnover in the UNE zone and wristing her second of the day past Nor'Easter net minder Sydney Helmbrecht.

Shayna Dominique (Mistissini, QUE) turned aside 14 shots in the final session to keep the hosts off the board down the stretch and secure her second shutout of the season. Classmate
Lora Ardoin (Houston, TX) tacked on an empty-net score in the final moments to provide the closing margin of 3-0.
