Schoner recorded his second hat trick of the season, this one a natural hat trick, as he scored three consecutive goals in the Roos 5-1 win against SUNY Potsdam on Sunday in the North Country Tournament. The sophomore finished with a +3 on-ice rating for the game. On Saturday Schoner scored the team’s second goal of the game to tie it at 2-2 midway through the third period in an eventual 4-2 loss to Tufts. For his performance on the weekend he was named to the North Country All-Tournament Team. Schoner now ranks tied for third in NCAA Division III with 1.0 goal per game and ranks second in the country in total goals with 10 through games played on December 1, 2024. He also leads the SUNYAC with 10 goals and is tied for first with 13 points.
