Marion had a huge week as he placed second in one tournament and tied for third in his other appearance on the week. The sophomore opened the week tying for third out of 40 golfers at the Elmira College Spring Invitational at Elmira Country Club on Tuesday. He carded a round of 8-over par, 80, recording 13 pars on his round to finish just three strokes out of first place. On Saturday and Sunday at the two-day, 36-hole Oswego State Spring Invitational he finished in second place out of 39 golfers. Marion posted a 79 in the opening round with a birdie and nine pars. He followed that up with a 75 on Sunday posting two birdies and 10 pars on Sunday as he finished just eight strokes out of first place and one ahead of third place.
