Marion posted a second place finish out of 20 players on Thursday at the Utica Invitational at Yahnundasis Golf Club shooting an 81 (40-41). The Roos finished in first place out of four teams with 330 strokes besting the next closest team by 17 strokes. On Sunday Marion tied his season low round shooting a 75 to finish in fourth place out of 21 players at the Nazareth Invitational at Stafford Country Club. Marion went out in 2-over 38 with a birdie on the sixth hole and came home in 37 with eight pars and a bogey. The Roos won the team title with 308 strokes edging out second place Hobart (313) and third place Nazareth (314). The 308 strokes were just one off the season low for the team.
