Schlyter had a monster weekend combining to make 70 saves in a pair of wins leading the Roos to the inaugural Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Commissioner’s Cup championship. The sophomore opened his weekend recording 24 saves for a .923 save percentage in a 6-2 win v. Anna Maria (9-11-2). He followed that up with a career-high 46 saves and a .958 save percentage in a 5-2 win v. Albertus Magnus (16-8-1). He made at least 11 saves in every period including a remarkable 23 saves over the final period as the Roos never trailed. Schlyter finished the week with a .945 save percentage and 2.00 goals against average.
