Alvarez posted a .937 save percentage, 2.00 goals against average and stopped 59 combined shots in a 1-1 weekend for the Roos. She stopped all 16 shots she faced in a 5-0 shutout against Buffalo State on Friday, her second shutout of the season. The junior followed that up with a career-high 43 saves keeping the Roos within a one score game v. No. 4 nationally-ranked Plattsburgh State in the third period. Alvarez stopped at least 12 shots in every period v. the Cardinals including 17 in the second period. She now has 155 saves, a .928 save percentage, a 1.49 goals against average and 6-1-1 record on the season.
