Szlamcynski captured medalist honors with a season-best round of 2-over par, 74, on Saturday at the Paul Smith’s Invitational at Saranac Inn Golf & Country Club. He defeated St. Lawrence’s Cooper Evans by one stroke and led the Roos to the team title with 324 strokes. Canton bested second place St. Lawrence (335) in the three-team field.
