Nunez scored his first collegiate goal in thrilling fashion as he netted the game-winner 6 minutes, 32 seconds into overtime to lift the Roos past Bard College, 1-0, in both team’s season opener on Saturday. The junior had just one other career point, an assist during his rookie season in 2019. His shot came on a pass to the top of the box as he ripped a shot off the inside of the left post as the team ran onto the field in celebration.
