Justin was one of two SUNY Canton athletes to be awarded a Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence.

Justin was a four-year member of the men's soccer team and a standout defender.  He has earned all-Sunrise Conference honors and after his freshman year was an NAIA Honorable All-American.  He played in 61 career games and was part of a defense that allowed only 2.4 goals per game.

This year he was the Outstanding Scholar-Athlete in the conference after obtaining the highest grade-point average among all men's soccer players.  He was also named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete and received a Chancellor's Scholar-Athlete Award.  He has been a math tutor for three years, a member of the alternative and renewable energy club, served on the College's Intercollegiate Athletic Board, and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
