Farabee continued his impressive play posting three goals and two assists in a pair of SUNY Canton wins last week. The junior opened the week with two goals and an assist in a 5-3 road win at SUNY Potsdam on Tuesday. He gave the Roos a 2-1 lead finding the back of the net with 13 seconds left in the first period on the power play. Farabee then scored 5:18 into the second period to extend the lead to 3-1 and had an assist on the eventual game-winner at 1:21 of the third period. On Friday in a 4-3 road win at Fredonia he lit the lamp again on the power play at 4:38 of the second to give Canton a 3-2 lead. He also assisted the team’s second goal which broke a 1-1 tie. Farabee leads the team in goals (12), power play goals (8) and is tied for game-winners (2). Through games played on January 16th he was ranked second in power play goals (7) and tied for seventh in goals per game (0.85).
