Marshall posted a runner-up finish at the Paul Smith’s Invitational on Saturday carding a round of 2-over par 74. In the process, he led the Roos to their first win of the season as the team finished with a season-low score of 307 to defeat St. Lawrence (312) in the six team event. This marks the first time the SUNY Canton men’s golf team has defeated the Saints. In his other event on the week, the sophomore posted an 87 (19th) at the highly competitive Elmira Fall Invitational played at Elmira Country Club.
