Pele was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2019 NAC Women’s Lacrosse Championship after leading the Roos to a 19-4 win v. Maine Farmington. She all players with six points on four goals and two assists and adding game-highs of eight ground balls and five caused turnovers to go with four draw controls in the championship game. The senior led SUNY Canton to its first-ever NCAA Tournament berth in school history as the Roos will travel to St. John Fisher College on Saturday where they will square off with Brockport. Overall, Pele finished the tournament with seven goals, four assists, 11 ground balls, nine draw controls and six caused turnovers.
