Susac had an absolutely huge weekend stopping 85 shots in two contests to lead the Roos to the cusp of the WSYB/Catamount Radio Invitational championship as they fell 4-3 in overtime to Endicott in the championship game. The junior goaltender broke a seven-year-old SUNY Canton single-game record by stopping 54 shots in the OT contest v. the Gulls (8-2-3). She made 16 or more saves in every period including an astonishing 20 in the third period. Susac also made 31 saves to lead the Roos to a 4-3 win in overtime v. host Castleton in Saturday’s first semifinal. For her efforts on the weekend, Susac was named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Roos previous program record for saves in a single-game came in the team’s inaugural season when both Alyssa Altschuler (10/27/12) and Victoria Taylor (11/18/12) stopped 52 shots. Susac’s previous career-high of 43 saves also came against Endicott on January 27, 2017.
