Petric posted his first collegiate hat trick in a 6-4 win at No. 3 nationally-ranked Adrian College on Sunday. Entering the game with two goals on the season, the rookie gave the Roos a 2-1 lead at 2:28 of the second period. He extended the Canton lead to 5-3 on a crucial insurance goal at 2:12 of the third period and iced the game and the Roos top win v. a ranked opponent in school history with an empty netter with five seconds remaining. The Roos have now beaten a pair of top 15 nationally-ranked opponents in the month of December.
