Tassava carded a round of 89 in extremely windy conditions with gusts at approximately 40 miles per hour to tie for first place at the SUNY Canton Invitational on Friday. She followed that up with her second lowest career round of 87 in the second round of the Utica Invitational where she finished in seventh place out of 18 golfers (98-87-185). The Roos won their home invitational behind Tassava’s performance and won just their second tournament in the three year varsity program history. The Roos also defeated St. Lawrence (409 to 412) for the first time in school history.
