Seniors Romario Fletcher and Sam Annorh have been nearly inseparable since coming to SUNY Canton four years ago. Much like our female M-A-Difference winner, almost everyone on campus knows them. One can shoot the threes and the other is one of the best slam dunkers ever to attend the school. The school didn't allow dances until these two came to SUNY Canton and they along with the men's basketball team convinced us to try again after years of disciplinary problems. We rolled the dice with them and they brought dances back to campus and we've been dancing ever since. They've also spent countless hours working with local youth basketball and Special Olympic basketball. They also brought success back to the court at SUNY Canton as the men's basketball games are big events on campus and are probably the highest attended events other than graduation. During their careers they helped transform what was a losing program to one of our most successful. They have led our team to the USCAA Nationals and to the ECACs. During their careers here they've beaten Potsdam and Clarkson and Connecticut College and Fredonia and Morrisville and Utica and a long, long list of others. They have combined for 56 wins in their last three seasons including back-to-back 20 win seasons. The last time SUNY Canton won 20 basketball games prior to that was in 1986. The team hadn't won 20 games in back-to-back seasons since 1980. They've won nearly every honor possible, including USCAA All Americans and they were both named to the D3 Independents First Team and this year Ro was named the D3 Independent Player of the Year and Tournament MVP.
