Hyland hit .560 (14-for-25) from the plate with a .645 on-base percentage, .880 slugging percentage, 10 RBI and six runs leading the Roos to a 6-1 record in three contests she played in on the week. The freshman finished with eight doubles, six walks and 22 total bases as the Roos earned a pair of sweeps against Alfred State and a sweep of Wells College with their lone losses coming to SUNY Potsdam. Hyland’s best outing came when she went 7-for-9 in a Sunday sweep at Alfred State with four doubles and drove in five runs. In the field she also recorded 46 putouts and four assists without a single error.  With the impressive week Canton now improves to 14-9 on the season.
