Sova tallied three goals and two assists in a pair of contest as the Roos opened the season with a weekend split. The sophomore had a phenomenal game Friday night in Lake Placid having a hand in four of the team’s five goals as SUNY Canton defeated Skidmore 5-2. He scored two goals in the first period including the eventual game-winner, while also assisting the Roos first and fifth goals. Sova then scored SUNY Canton’s first goal Saturday v. Plattsburgh State.
