Barton hit .444 in a 2-2 week for the baseball team including a .571 average on Sunday in a doubleheader against St. Joseph’s College (Brooklyn). He had 2 RBIs and scored a run in a 4-3 win for the Roos against the Bears. The freshman laced a double into the gap in left center with two outs in the top of the seventh to provide a crucial insurance run.

The baseball team is tentatively scheduled to play at St. Lawrence University on Tuesday before hosting D’Youville College in a doubleheader on Saturday at the Watertown Fairgrounds.
