O’Connell had an impressive weekend leading the women’s hockey team to one win and a tie on the road at Chatham University. The freshman forward finished with two goals and one assist on the weekend tallying her first career point in a 1-1 tie on Friday and scoring two of the four Roo goals in a 4-1 win on Saturday.

The women’s hockey team returns home to the Roos House Friday when it hosts Buffalo State beginning at 7:00 p.m. The same two teams will play again Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
